Corporate Responsibility

Frontier Pacific Mining Corporation is committed to the highest standards of corporate social and environmental responsibility. We have created policies to ensure continued adherence to these values that will be universally applied respecting local customs, laws and traditions.

Whether exploring, developing, operating, or closing mines, we will meet, and whenever possible, surpass all regulatory requirements to ensure health and environmental safety as well as working together with local communities towards lasting economic progress.

At the present time, we are focused on the development of the Perama Hill gold project in northeastern Greece. This shallow deposit is can be developed with relatively little environmental impact with careful stewardship and monitoring. Through mining of the resource and creation of long-term development, the Perama Hill Project will significantly benefit both the local economy and our shareholders.

Long term development, to us, means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We will conduct our projects in a manner that incorporates development planning leading to the improvement of the future economic and social welfare of the local regions. The interests of both our shareholders and those of the community, society, and the environment will be taken into consideration by:

  • fostering and conducting open and transparent business practices;
  • understanding and respecting local social and economic customs and cultures;
  • adhering to excellence in environmental management and protection;
  • working with local stakeholders on long-term economic and social development;
  • implementing a policy of preferential local training and employment;
  • developing and utilizing systems to identify and manage risks;
  • providing the resources to meet agreed social responsibility objectives;
  • whenever appropriate and feasible, setting operating standards that exceed the requirements of local, regional and national laws;
  • partnering with stakeholders in appropriate community development programs;
  • consulting stakeholders in matters that affect them and respond effectively and correctly to matters that may concern them;
  • communicating information in an accurate, transparent and timely manner; and
  • utilizing independent verification agencies to monitor and maintain all environmental and social responsibility policies.
